West Town Art Walk
October 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 2026

Established in 2011, the West Town Art Walk celebrates the vibrant community of businesses in West Town while showcasing the work of Chicago artists. The mission is to highlight West Town as a rich cultural hub for residents, visitors, and business owners alike. Over the years, the neighborhood has become known as a thriving arts district filled with galleries and creative spaces.
The 16th Annual West Town Art Walk (October 2-4, 2026) will feature local artists’ work on display at West Town Art Galleries and small businesses all weekend long! Free public art walking tours will be available at 5pm on Friday starting in front of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and 1pm on Saturday & Sunday starting at the south side of Eckhart Park in front of the park house. Free pedicab rides will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm to get around town and enjoy all the art, culture, music, food, and deals in West Town. And don't forget to use your Art Walk button for deals and specials at local businesses! Stroll the neighborhood and celebrate the artistic and creative community of West Town!

Public Art Walking Tours
Brick of Chicago Walking Tour of Noble Square
West Town Art Walk is teaming up with Brick of Chicago to offer a free community Brick of Chicago Noble Square Walking Tour! This tour will feature the beautiful bricks, architecture, and history of Noble Square, a beloved part of the West Town neighborhood. This event is free but an RSVP is required to attend. Capacity is limited.
When: October 2nd at 5pm (don't be late!)
Where: Meet outside of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
What: A free Walking Tour of Noble Square. Pulaski Park and Noble Square lie just to the east of Wicker Park and feature an incredible cross section of Chicago’s early brick history - from a city rebuilt after the fire with common clay, to metropolis of brick culled from sources around the country.
Moreso, Pulaski Park and Noble Square present an unparalleled view of Chicago’s use of brick and terra cotta in the Victorian era. Victorian brickwork features polychromatic brickwork, intricate corbelling, and enormous swirling terra cotta decorations. After this tour, you’ll see the city and the humble brick with new eyes!

Public Art Walking Tours

The West Town Chamber of Commerce will be offering two free public art walking tours that feature some of the beautiful murals in West Town! The tour is about an hour long and will be led by the West Town Chamber of Commerce staff.
When: Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00pm & Sunday, October 4th at 1:00pm
Where: The tours will start in front of the Eckhart Park Field house on the south side of Eckhart Part (1330 W Chicago Ave)
What: A free walking tour that will feature some of West Town's most beautiful murals (many of which have been funded by West Town SSA #29 !) We will touch on the artists, the history, and the buildings that the murals are part of. The tour will be about an hour long. Please RSVP below.

Q: Where do I start?
A: Attendees can start their Art Walk journey at any of the participating businesses, and all will have West Town Art Walk Guides and buttons. Art Walk is free to attend.
Q: What's the best way to get around while exploring?
A: We recommend walking, taking the bus, or enjoying one of our free Art Walk pedicab rides to get around the neighborhood.
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Well behaved dogs are allowed in some businesses! Check individual business websites to inquire.
Q: How long has the West Town Art Walk been going on?
A: Sixteen years! The WTAW was established in 2011 by two local small business owners, Julie Ghatan (Dovetail) and Chris Hunt (Seek Vintage).
