Tenant Application

West Town Pop Up Project is accepting new tenants for 2025! Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed as received. Apply early - spaces are available for lease starting mid-January.

Types of Pop-Ups Allowed:

​

  • Retail merchandise, including but not limited to, clothing, accessories, galleries, gifts, seasonal stores, and craft markets.

  • Nonperishable food and drink that is commercially prepackaged in a properly licensed establishment. No on-site food preparation, alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis sales.

Terms & Lease Overview

1. 2025 Lease Timeline

​

  • The Pop Up's can be rented for 4 to 6-month periods.​
     

2. Rent
​

  • 1821 W Chicago Avenue is $700 per month, and 1947 W Chicago Avenue is $1,400 per month. 

  • Utilities, water, trash, internet, and an alarm system are included in rent.
     

3. Financial and Insurance Requirements
​

  • We require a $1,000 Security & Damage Deposit. $500 is due at lease signing, and $500 is due 60-days prior to tenancy.

  • Upon receiving keys:

    • Insurance required: General Coverage up to 1 million, (West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce 1819 W. Chicago Ave. Chicago IL 60622) must be listed as additionally insured.

4. What WTCC Provides​​
​

  • Complementary year-long WTCC Membership, with ongoing tertiary PR representation, access to networking opportunities, and opportunity to be involved in any applicable Chamber events or initiatives

  • Support with hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony

  • Dedicated press release and one social post to announce tenancy

  • Feature on Website

  • Access to monthly consulting sessions to discuss marketing strategies, including social media best practices

  • One-hour professional photography session

  • Support with technical assistance as business start's up and/or expands
