

Hot Jams and Cold Brews. Dancing in the Street highlights West Town's growing beer scene with live music, dancing, local food vendors and makers, plus a vast selection of craft beer from the Chicago Brewing District.
Dancing In The Streets is the name of the event, and also a popular Grateful Dead song. The event dates were chosen specifically to coincide with the “Days Between” which is the name of the week celebrating the memory of Jerry Garcia between August 1st, Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and August 9th, the date that Garcia passed away.

Curated in conjuncture with Kiss The Brain; a locally run arts initiative, Live Art Making will feature

Live Music
Dancing In The Streets is the brainchild of On Tour Brewing Company founder, and major jam band fan, Mark Legenza. The West Town Chamber of Commerce works with On Tour Brewing to produce this one of a kind craft beer and live music event.

Q: How can I volunteer at the event?
A: Please fill out the volunteer interest form!
Q: Is the event dog friendly?
A: Yes! Well behaved dogs on leashes may attend.
Q: Is there parking?
A: There is plenty of non metered street parking in the area but no designated parking.
Q: How do I get there?
A: The festival is located on Hubbard Street between Paulina and Wood. Use the address 1700 W. Division St. Chicago IL 60622 when travelling to Dancing in the Streets.
Q: Is the $10 Suggested Donation Required?
A: No. It is not required because the event takes place in the public way. However, we will have entrance gate staff suggesting that attendees make the donation. Donations help to cover the costs of producing the event, and proceeds benefit local non-profits: WTCC, Nourishing Hope, and Fulton Street Collective. Please DONATE!
