Chris Drenth - Portrait Artist “I have always had a passion for music. When I hear a song, it takes me right back to the place and time when that song was popular on the radio or when I had it in heavy rotation in my music catalog. I was so moved by the death of Prince, I created a pen and ink portrait the day he passed away using only his song titles. Since that time, I have added portraits of other influential musicians, and plan to continue adding to the series.

I spent over 20 years in the restaurant business, and have recently changed careers to pursue my passion. I am currently teaching art in middle school where I am passing on my knowledge of, and more importantly, my love for art."
